Balanced Yoga’s 200-Hour Teacher Training is an extraordinary opportunity like no other. Rooted in the Baptiste Methodology™, this all-encompassing training is designed with our core value in mind: community.
We’ve joined forces with Columbus’ most knowledgeable and impactful instructors to create an integrated space for you to discover for yourself a profound embodiment of the yoga practice on and off the mat. You will awaken pathways to cultivate awareness, understanding, authenticity, confidence and freedom in all areas of your life.
Our welcoming and supportive environment will empower you to tap into your fullest potential, to lead and live as a natural expression of all that you are. Through asana, meditation, personal inquiry, group discussion, philosophical application, community building, hands-on coaching, assisting, practice teaching and leadership coaching, you will develop the technical knowledge and personal skills needed to teach a powerful yoga class, to any population.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Be ready for anything, anytime! Immersion days typically consist of meditation, asana practice(s), group discussions, partner exercises, practice teaching, break work, journaling and self-reflection.

Lead E-RYT Trainers: Leah Westwater and Nicole Klasa.
Certain modules will be supported by these specialized and experienced Balanced Yoga instructors: Parker Bean, Angela Bompiani, Greg Fisher, Babajide Ogunmola, Corinne Reczek, Alexa Rittichier, Daniel Snider, and Cecilia Shanahan.

About your Lead Trainers: Leah and Nicole lead weekly classes, private lessons, workshops and trainings. They have been trained as facilitators by the Baptiste Institute and have attended over 500 hours of Baptiste Institute programs and facilitated more than 600 hours of programming. In addition, they mentor yoga teachers in Africa through the Africa Yoga Project, volunteer their time in Columbus, and passionately support community building efforts.

Early Bird Pricing (before 9/15) - $3,200
Full Tuition (after 9/15) - $3,500
Application Fee (goes towards cost of tuition) - $300
Payment plans available - tuition must be paid in full prior to graduation.
Applications will be emailed to registrants by September 15. After September 15, applications will be sent on a rolling basis after deposit received.

WHAT TO BRING (REQUIRED)

FOOD & ACCOMMODATIONS
You will be responsible for your own food (meals and snacks) and accommodations, if traveling from out of town. Balanced Yoga will provide insight on options for accommodations, markets and restaurants near the studio prior to the start of program.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: 100% attendance is required. Students are expected to be on time, present and prepared. Any potential missed hours must be communicated prior to absence and completed before graduation. Missed hours can be completed in the form of specified workshops, or if the instructor is required to spend time with the student to cover missed information, a fee of $75/hour applies.
